Project Overview

Integrate recently secured a prestigious five-year contract for the Highways England maintenance depot in the M25 region. By showcasing extensive experience and expertise in large-scale maintenance agreements, we successfully tendered for the contract, delivering exceptional value and a strategic approach to asset management.

Challenges Identified

When our team conducted the initial site inspections, we quickly noticed that many assets had not received the necessary maintenance. This neglect resulted in significant health and safety risks, particularly for assets that lacked a functional control descent mechanism. Our findings underscored critical safety concerns that required immediate action to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.

Strategic Approach & Solution

To resolve these issues, we performed a comprehensive audit and presented a detailed project plan along with a cost-effective quotation. Highways England reviewed our proposal, acknowledged the problems, and approved our recommendations.

One major aspect of the project involved systematically replacing all roller shutters across multiple sites. Since some shutters measured as large as 12m x 12m, we needed advanced engineering solutions to meet strict security, durability, and safety requirements. Additionally, the shutters had to comply with high wind resistance standards to withstand harsh environmental conditions.
