Reactive Manual Gate Repair Following Vehicle Impact
A reactive manual gate repair was required after a vehicle collision left a gate on the ground, creating an immediate safety and access issue.
Our engineers attended site following an urgent call-out to assess the damage and restore safe operation as quickly as possible.
Assessment & Repair
The gate leaf remained structurally sound; however, the impact caused severe hinge damage, making replacement unavoidable. Due to the size and weight of the gate, manual handling was not safe.
As part of the reactive manual gate repair, a Hi-ab was used to safely lift and reinstall the gate, with two engineers attending site to complete the works.
Although the replacement hinges were not colour-matched, the priority was to secure the site and reinstate operation without delay.
Testing & Handover
Once installed, the gate was fully tested and returned to safe operation in line with health and safety requirements.
